Southern Stars USA Announcement... Hi All!!!
I hope you're all doing well! After much consideration, I have decided not to continue on with Southern Stars USA. Prelim turnout has just not been great and I am afraid, from a business standpoint, to go on with a state pageant of my own.
That being said, I have taken over a franchise for a wonderful new pageant system, International Fresh Faces. This system will offer more opportunities and awards than I could have offered on my own! I am really excited about it and I hope that you all will be as well!
South Carolina Fresh Faces will be held on May 1st and 2nd in Fort Mill, SC at The Plaza Hotel. I will be awarding lots of Bonds, beautiful round crowns, monogrammed satin sashes and wonderful gifts! The price of the pageant is very reasonable and it's going to be so much fun! After State, you will have the opportunity to compete at the International competition if you choose. (www.internationalfreshfaces.com) At Internationals, Michael Booth, the International director, will be awarding over $40,000 in savings bonds and every contestant and their chaperone will receive 2 FREE TICKETS TO DISNEYWORLD!!! All pageant contestants and their chaperone will travel via chartered bus to spend a fun-filled day at Disney! WOW!!! This is a great opportunity to incorporate two of our favorite things... pageants and vacations!!! :)
For those of you that have competed in any Southern Stars USA prelim, all of your fees off that you were awarded will apply to SC Fresh Faces! Your $100 Registration fee will be paid and any other fees off (Grand Supreme, Beauty Queen, etc.) will be honored at SC Fresh Faces State! I hope you will see what a reasonably priced State pageant that this is.
Although there will be a glitz beauty competition, please don't let that scare you away! This is a toned-down system and is truly all about a Fresh Face! Contestants may compete in either glitz beauty or Fresh Face beauty (no make-up for 0-10, natural make-up for 11&up) or BOTH! Your highest beauty score will be used!!! Hair pieces, tanning, etc. is allowed but is NOT required. The judges will score contestants on two criteria: 75% Facial Beauty and 25% Personality & Appeal. There will be no modeling or clothing scores at all! This is truly the perfect pageant for all girls and BOYS!!!
